Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014 - Givenchy

   This was a very womanly, very French collection. "This time it was about celebrating elegance and bon ton (good taste)," Riccardo Tisci said backstage. "My own bon ton, of course."
Their were classic feminine prints: butterflies, leopard spots, and serpent skin. The designer found a way to show the butterfly effect by zooming in on the pattern of  butterfly wing, inserting embroidered round patches at the shoulders or creating a contrasting butterfly pattern printed at the chest.

تحلت المجموعة بروح فرنسية و و أنثوية ، حيث صرح ريكاردو تيسكي وراء الكواليس “ هذه المرة سنحتفل بالأناقة و الذوق الرفيع” ، و أضاف :” ذوقي الرفيع طبعا”.

تفاصيل نسائية كلاسيكية : الفراشات، طبعات التايجر ، و جلد الثعبان.  وجد المصمم طريقة خلابة لإظهار تأثير الفراشة علي الملابس من خلال تكبير أجنحة الفراشة و طباعتها علي صدر الفستان أو إدراج بقع مستديرة مطرزة على الكتفين.

Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014 - Dior

    In this collection there was powers fight between menswear and feminine power, but ended in a tie, both of them were shown equally by Tailored coats and jackets in flannel, camel, and pinstripe that had a masculine weight, but they were matched with intensely feminine colors and silks.

في هذه المجموعة كان هناك صراع بين الملابس الرجالية و القوة الأنثوية،ولكن بالأخير حصلنا علي التعادل بينهم، تم تطبيقهم بشكل متساوي برزت بخياطة السترات و الجاكيتات و لون الكاميل و الأقمشة المقلمة و دمجها مع الحرائر و الألوان الأنثوية.

Many of the clothes featured the purely female detail of corset lacing (these were also suggestive of the laces of trainers), down the sides or the spine or across the hip of a slip-dress but i didn't like them or like the trainers heels ugh ugly.

أغلب الملابس ظهرت عليها تفاصيل نسائية بحتة وهي تفاصيل المشد - كورسية ( وكان لها مظهر رياضي لأنه المصمم استخدم للمشد أربطة تشبة ربطات الحذاء الرياضي) وكانت هذي التفاصيل موجودة إما على جوانب الخصر أو على العامود الفقري أو على الحوض ، أنا بالنسبة حقي كلش ما عجبتني هذي التفاصيل خصوصا علي الجواتي (قبيحة).

what i loved in this show is the experimentation of color on impeccably tailored double-breasted business suits, the red skirt and dresses with full-skirt cuts.

أكثر شي عجبني في العرض كان خياطة البدل المستوحي من بدل رجال الأعمال بألوان زاهية و التنورة الحمراء و الفساتين السوداء المتفوخة عجيبين.

Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014 - Louis Vuitton

   There was a tender typewritten note from Nicolas Ghesquière (LV new creative director) on every seat at his first show for Louis Vuitton. "Today is a new day. A big day…Words cannot express exactly how I am feeling at this moment…Above all, immense joy.” 

كان هناك مذكرة رقيقة من المصمم نيكولا (المدير الإبداعي الجديد للويس فويتون) مطبوعة ، علي كل مقعد في العرض الأول له: “ اليوم هو يوم جديد، و يوم عظيم ... الكلمات  تعجز عن وصف هذه اللحظة ...فرحة هائلة فوق الوصف” .

   There was a mod-ish feel to most of his looks, especially patterned A-line dresses and coats, skirts  with oversized prominently featured pockets and plenty of suede and leather in a very innovative way. The colors orientation toward earth tone color palette

سادت روح موضة الستينات علي الإطلالة العامة للعارضات، وكان ذلك واضح علي الفساتين و البالطوات و التنانير مع قصة الA-Line  المضاف إليها جيوب بارزة و جلد الغزال و الجلود بطريقة مبتكرة جدا. و التوجه العام للألوان كان نحو الألوان الترابية.

Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014 - Prada

According to the designer Miuccia she honed the inspiration, focusing on Fassbinder, watching all his movies to the point where she was prepared to announce that she had drawn directly from the costumes in his 1972 film The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant and 1981 film Lola. "Your culture is done by your past," she said. "History is there for a reason." 

وفقا للمصممة ميوشيا، أعلنت ميوشيا أن مصدر إلهامها لمجموعتها كانت أفلام الفنان و المخرج الألماني فاسبيندر، و بالأخص فلم “الدموع المريرة لبترا فون كانت” سنة ١٩٧٢ و فلم “لولا” ١٩٨١.وقالت في أحدي مقابلاتها بعد العرض أن: “ثقافة الانسان هي انعكاس لماضية” و “يؤرخ الماضي لسبب ما”.

Playing with contrast, the collection included many different textures and shapes that were layered together. That said, Miuccia’s two signature elements were sheer and bright shearling. And focus colors was purple, red , bright mustard yellow and black.

كان تركيز المصممة في مجموعتها يدور حول دمج التناقضات بالأقمشة و الألوان و الأشكال من خلال عرضها علي العارضات بطبقات مختلفة.القطع الشفافة و صوف الخروف بألوان مبهرة تركت بصمتها علي المجموعة. و تركيز الألوان كان البنفسجي،الأحمر، لون المسترد الفاقع و الأسود.

     whats blow me away? was this awesome wedges red boots, i love it and in somehow it reminds of karen’s dancing shoes in “The red hoes” fairy tale story.

اللي لفت انتباهي بالعرض و طيرلي عقلي، ويدج بوت أحمر خطير وايد حبيته ذكرني بطفولتي كنت وايد احب قصة” الحذاء الأحمر” من حكايات عالمية ، ما تذكرونها ؟؟ كان اسمها كارين و أدري أن شكل الجوتي مختلف بس ما أدري ليش ذكرت القصة علي طول.

Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014 - chanel

   How did Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel's Fall/Winter show 2014? Karl imagined the whole world as a megastore under the sign of the double C, which really matched the collection very well in my opinion it's just difficult to define the style of the clothes there was sporty, 80's, futuristic styles and definitely Chanel classic style was printed on every pieces. 

اشلون حب كارل لاغرفيلد يقدم لنا مجموعته لخريف/شتاء ٢٠١٤؟ سرح و عاش الخيال و رجع لنا بسوبرماركت فخم و أنيق تحت علامة شانيل، و أنا في رأي المتواضع أحس إن مافي أي شكل أو أجواء  ثانية راح تتماشي مع عرض هذه المجموعة بتداخل ستايلاتها المختلفة.

لأنها كانت جدا متنوعة و غنية بالألوان وأنماط ستايلات مختلفة(مثل أرفف السوبرماركت)  منها الرياضي اللي كان أثر واضح خصوصا علي الأحذية، موضة الثمانينات والنظرة المستقبلية و طبعا كان لابد من لمسات شانيل الكلاسيكية علي كل مظهر ظهرت فيه العارضات.

The shelves of his extraordinarily detailed set were stacked with more than a hundred thousand items all custom made for the show.The models had tweed shopping baskets and strolled throughout the "store" with Chanel shopping carts. The labels of at least five hundred everyday products had been re-coded in Chanelspeak. Personal favorites included chic black cotton buds sold as bâtonnets élégants; boxes of handkerchiefs labeled Les Chagrins de Gabrielle; and in the hardware department there was a chain saw with a real Chanel chain. And i heard that they allowed shoplifting only for the fresh produce and the candies.

في الواقع و صل إبداع كارل إلي أدق تفاصيل العرض ، كانت جميع الأرفف مكدسة بمنتجات حقيقية تحتويها أي سوبرماركت، و كلها منتجات تم تصنيعها حصريا للعرض و تحمل علامة شانيل. كل العارضات كانوا يتسوقون حاملين سلال و عربات التسوق المزينة بأقمشة التويد علي طراز شانيل. و الجدير بالذكر، كان هناك ما لا يقل عن خمسمائة منتج يومي تم إعادة تسميتهم بلغة شانيل، ومن المنتجات اللي أعجبتني : علبة قطن الأذن و صنعت باللون الأسود و أطلق عليها العصي الأنيقة ، علب الكلينكس (المناديل الورقية) حازت علي اسم أحزان غابرييل ، و أخيرا قسم الأجهزة - أحلي شيء- عارضين منشار كهربائي و أطافة من سلاسل شانيل المستخدمة للحقائب. و أخطر حركة - أحسدهم اللي كانوا حاضرين العرض- تم السماح للحضور بسرقة المنتجات الاستهلاكية مثل الحلويات و غيرها من الأرفف تماشيا مع أجواء العرض.

شملت لوحة الألوان تنوع كبير من الألوان الجذابة من الوردي و درجات الأبيض الي الكريمي و الرمادي و العديد من الألوان الفاقعة.

The color palette included an appealing diversity of shades, from sweet pink to white, creamy, grey and also encompassing bluish tones and other bright colorful options.

Fashion Report Fall/Winter 2014- Elie Saab

    

    Since that September is finished and fashion weeks are all over. the last few days i was watching some of the shows and i was very inspired to write a fashion report but i will be reviewing the fall/winter 2014 collections.

   So after watching my favorite designers show’s and reading reviews and feedbacks from people how attend the shows. I decided on focusing on ten brands, viewing my favorite looks from the show, discussing the style and narrowing the colors palette of the collection.

بما إن احنا خلصنا شهر سبتمبر و خلصت معاه كل عروض أسبوع الموضة العالمية (في كل من نيويورك، ميلان،لندن ،باريس). عطلة العيد تفرغت و طالعت مجموعة من العروض و ألهمتني اني اكتب تقرير عن الموضة و لكن عروض شهر سبتمبر كانت عن صيف /ربيع ٢٠١٥ و احنا الحين داخلين علي موسم شتاء، وعلشان جذي دورت علي عروض خريف/شتاء ٢٠١٤.

و أخيرا بعد متابعتي لمجموعة من العروض و مشاهدة مقابلات المصممين و مراجعة مجموعة من الصحفين و البلوقرز اللي كانوا حاضرين العروض، يسعدني مشاركتكم تقريري عن ١٠ ماركات اخترتها و اللي راح أعرض منها صور لوكات (طلة) أعجبتني أو برزت خلال العرض و أناقش الستايلات اللي ألهمت المجموعة و أحدد لوحة الألوان اللي لون فيها المصمم مجموعتة. 

Elie Saab creations always catches everyone's eyes on the red carpets. It's no surprise he was inclined to focus on his evening wear formula at his ready-to-wear presentation.(we are here not to talk about fashion couture but i couldn’t resist Elie saab couture collection i hearted the frozen queen fairy style) click to watch 

Saab called the collection Dark Opulence and said he was looking at the work of Mark Rothko. The artist's Color Field paintings made up a template of sorts for the designer's ombré effects. Saab prints this season, a painterly floral with brushstrokes for petals with black background. no doubt he is the king of lace but he played very well with silk, velvets, chiffons and densely embroidered materials. The color choices was reflect rich and warm of winter.

إبداعات إيلي صعب لملابس السهرة كانت دائما تخطف الأبصار علي السجادة الحمراء، وهذا الشئ اللي حفز المصمم علي التركيز في تصاميم فساتين ملابس السهرة و أدخالها مع عرض الملابس الجاهزة   (مو موضوعنا بس المجموعة الخاصة لملابس السهرة لإيلي صعب عجيبة تعور القلب احسها مستوحى من القصص الخيالية لملكة الثلج). انقر للمشاهدة

أطلق إيلي صعب علي المجموعة اسم “ الثراء المظلم” ، وأفصح  لنا إيلي عن مشاهدة لأعمال الفنان  مارك روثكو أثناء عمله علي المجموعة.  كتل حقول الألوان التي ميزت لوحات الفنان مارك كان لها أثر واضح علي إيلي صعب في اختيار تأثير تدرج الألوان (الأومبريه) علي الفساتين.

أدهشنا إيلي بلوحة زيتيه مظلمة و خلق فيها جمال زهور غامض بضربات ريشة المصمم لبتلات هذه الزهور. بالنسبة للخامات المستخدمة: الدانتيل ، ليس قابل للنقاش فإيلي هو ملك الدانتيل ولكنة أبدع في جميع الخامات المستخدمة ، الحرير و المخمل و الشفونات و خصوصا مع كثافة التطريزات المستخدمة. اختيارات الألوان كانت تعكس غني و دفء فصل الشتاء.

DIY : Wrinkles remover

I decided it was finally time to create my wrinkles remover because i tried to look for it in kuwait but i didn't find it anywhere, once I found the recipe online i tried it and i was really amazed how it worked ;) and the formula leaves my clothes smells really good and fresh especially on hot weather (removes the sun smell).

عيدكم مبارك أول شي ، و ثاني شي أنا صارلي مدة أدور علي السبراي بديل الكوي اللي يستخدمونه علي الهدوم اذا تعفست و يردها جنه توها للحين مكويه، المهم إني ما حصلته بالكويت و بعدين ليقت أكثر من طريقة بس هذي أكثر وحدة بسيطة و سهلة و قررت أجربها و أنفعتني و الحلو اللي فيها انها تعطر الهدوم و تشيل منها ريحة الشمس من كثر الحر.

Homemade Wrinkle Releaser Recipe

1 Cup Fabric softener ( i used Downy concentrate)
1 Cup white Vinegar

Just pour both ingredients into your spray bottle using a funnel to keep from spilling, then shake to mix together and now it is ready to use.

كوب خل أبيض

نصب المكونات في بطل سبراي باستخدام القمع و نرج العلبة و تكون جاهزة للاستخدام.

To release the wrinkles, just spray a mist over the wrinkled areas and tug on the fabric and then hang to let dry and the wrinkles will continue to release as it dries.
the denim shirt i used for the picture was freshly ironed but i rolled it and put on my suit case when i spend one night in the hotel for my sister wedding. the first thing i did when i entered the room i hang the shirt and spray wrinkle remover all over it and enter the shower until its dry. so only in 20 minutes i was ready to wear it and go down for the salon and the next day when i returned home i pull it out of the bag and just spray it again, take these pictures for you and again it work like a charm. love it. 

لإزالة التجاعيد ، نرش الهدوم بالسبراي و نركز علي الاماكن اللي نبيها تنفرد و بعدين نشد شوية الهدوم من الصوبين و نخليها معلقة لغاية ما تجف.

القميص اللي أنا مصورته بالصورة كان مكوي و لافته وحاطته بالجنطة علشان أخذة معاي حق الفندق يوم قعدنا في الفندق علشان عرس أختي، أول شي سويته أول ما وصلت الفندق طلعت القميص علقته و رشيته و دخلت خذت دش و تزهبت مرت ٢٠ دقيقة لبسته و نزلت الصالون. و ثاني يوم لما رديت البيت طلعته من الجنطة علقته و رشيته علشان التصوير و نفس الشي مثل السحر رد جنه توه مكوي ، حبيته وايد مفيد جربوه.
