Travel Diaries: Malaysia, November 2014



    
   Today i’m sharing with you my first trip to Malaysia, Kuala lumpur. My last Holiday destination was Turkey, Istanbul for the New Year 2014 holiday, so by the end of this year i was so desperate for a getaway anywhere and when my brother came to me :“I just took three weeks off from work, just find any where you want to go for one week only and i will come with you”. 
       I went to Monaco travel agency and find a great offer for 275KD only 5 Days (Tickets/ 5 Stars Hotel). Then set down to decide what clothes to wear over there, its monsoon season,i have a few days before my trip and i didn't know what to wear? all i know that i should pack Rain-appropriate footwear, umbrella, quicker-drying fabrics clothes and backpack. (end of the story i didn't look my in Best).

     Our trip was very long and tiring, i was so happy to finally reach our hotel "Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur” and have two hours sleep then a quick shower and we went to a close by mall Pavilion for Dinner. We found the best restaurant called Michelangelo’s, we ordered two filetto di salmone and two wetermelon drinks, i just can’t tell you how delicious was the food (Amaaaaaazzzzzing).

    Next Day we took the tour bus trip, on Stop No. 6 we found a nice spa called The Tropical Spa, both of us took the shoulders and foot massage package. It was the best foot massage i ever had, my left foot was killing me for weeks before the trip only when i wear flats, and after the massage i felt no pain at all. After that we went to the end of the street and we come by a big Tea shop, i bought all the tea bags and tea leafs i want from this shop only they have everything.

    Next Stop was China Town, wasn’t my favorite stop but my Brother loved it, i only enjoyed the fruit snacks and pineapple tart ;) .

    In our third day, we went to butterflies park and birds park in the morning and in the afternoon we went shopping at mine mall. We had our lunch at fish & Co. i ate fish & chips african style and when we finished shopping at night the plan was to go to pavilion agin and try Grandmama’s restaurant but there was a rain storm outside, so we had to go back to the hotel before dinner to change our wet clothes and wait for the rain to stop.





      The following day we went shopping at Lot 10 mall and fahreneit 88 mall where we had our lunch at Sushi Zanmai  it was so cheap and delicious.

      And more shopping at Star Hills mall and pavilion (again), Then by Night dinner at La Boca latino Bar also amazing food and atmosphere.
the Dress i found in star hills mall (it cost 300 KD!!), in that day i was sick and was looking for coffee every where (turkish coffee and coffee ice cream).

       We ended the night with a long walk at bukit bintang street and on the way back to the hotel we found street artist (his name is Colin think) he draw my portrait for 50 Rm.
      Finally the last day, we went to the factories area and Roncato leatherware  was the best stop we had the other factories were coffee, tea, chocolates factories. (i think i will write another post to show you some of the malaysia shopping). In the afternoon we went to berjaya time square mall for more shopping of course and at night we went to Petronas twin towers for dinner in a very traditional japanese restaurant named Umai-ya, and for the first time i ate Ramen (Kaisen Ramen) and it was so yummy.

DIY : Wrinkles remover


I decided it was finally time to create my wrinkles remover because i tried to look for it in kuwait but i didn't find it anywhere, once I found the recipe online i tried it and i was really amazed how it worked ;) and the formula leaves my clothes smells really good and fresh especially on hot weather (removes the sun smell).

عيدكم مبارك أول شي ، و ثاني شي أنا صارلي مدة أدور علي السبراي بديل الكوي اللي يستخدمونه علي الهدوم اذا تعفست و يردها جنه توها للحين مكويه، المهم إني ما حصلته بالكويت و بعدين ليقت أكثر من طريقة بس هذي أكثر وحدة بسيطة و سهلة و قررت أجربها و أنفعتني و الحلو اللي فيها انها تعطر الهدوم و تشيل منها ريحة الشمس من كثر الحر.

Homemade Wrinkle Releaser Recipe

1 Cup Fabric softener ( i used Downy concentrate)
1 Cup white Vinegar

Just pour both ingredients into your spray bottle using a funnel to keep from spilling, then shake to mix together and now it is ready to use.

الطريقة لتحضير مزيل التجاعيد للملابس 

كوب من منعم الأقمشه (استخدمت داوني المركز)
كوب خل أبيض

نصب المكونات في بطل سبراي باستخدام القمع و نرج العلبة و تكون جاهزة للاستخدام.


To release the wrinkles, just spray a mist over the wrinkled areas and tug on the fabric and then hang to let dry and the wrinkles will continue to release as it dries.
the denim shirt i used for the picture was freshly ironed but i rolled it and put on my suit case when i spend one night in the hotel for my sister wedding. the first thing i did when i entered the room i hang the shirt and spray wrinkle remover all over it and enter the shower until its dry. so only in 20 minutes i was ready to wear it and go down for the salon and the next day when i returned home i pull it out of the bag and just spray it again, take these pictures for you and again it work like a charm. love it. 
لإزالة التجاعيد ، نرش الهدوم بالسبراي و نركز علي الاماكن اللي نبيها تنفرد و بعدين نشد شوية الهدوم من الصوبين و نخليها معلقة لغاية ما تجف.
القميص اللي أنا مصورته بالصورة كان مكوي و لافته وحاطته بالجنطة علشان أخذة معاي حق الفندق يوم قعدنا في الفندق علشان عرس أختي، أول شي سويته أول ما وصلت الفندق طلعت القميص علقته و رشيته و دخلت خذت دش و تزهبت مرت ٢٠ دقيقة لبسته و نزلت الصالون. و ثاني يوم لما رديت البيت طلعته من الجنطة علقته و رشيته علشان التصوير و نفس الشي مثل السحر رد جنه توه مكوي ، حبيته وايد مفيد جربوه.

Fake Brownie







































"All is fair in love and war.” and there is no greater love than brownie love. So remember when you are in love or waging war, you are allowed to be deceitful in order to get what you want. and we want brownie!! Here, i am sharing with you my fake brownie recipe which is quick and very easy. And please enjoy lying to your family, friends and especially your man and tell them you did this recipe from scratch.


“كل شيء مباح في الحب و الحرب”. و ما في أقوي أو أعظم من حب البراوني. و المقولة تقول الغش مسموح في ساحة الحب و المعركة للوصول للهدف. و احنا بكل بساطة نبي براوني!! أشاركم اليوم و صفة سهلة و سريعة للبراوني الجذابة. طبعا لج كامل الحرية انج اتجذبين علي الأهل و الاصدقاء و خصوصا ريلج انج تعبتي وايد و انتي تسوينلهم البراوني...
ingredients

1 Chocolate cake mix ( better to use devilish foods cake mix)
1/2 cup and 2 Tbsp water
1 egg

for Garnish
2 Tbsp peanut butter
or 1/4 cup chopped nuts


المقادير 

١ علبة خليط الكيك الجاهزة بالكاكاو ( و يفضل إستخدام بالكاكاو الداكن )
١/٢ كوب و ٢ ملعقة كبيرة ماء
١ بيض

للتزين
٢ ملعقة كبيرة زبدة فول سوداني
أو ١/٤ كوب مكسرات مقطعة 

Instruction 
1) preheat the oven 200 C.
2) put all ingredients in a big bowl.
3) whisk manually until the mixture is smooth and thick.
4) pour the mixture in baking dish size 13X9 inch or for thicker brownie like the pictures used 7 X 15 inch.



5) garnish:
if you want to have your brownie with nuts:
just mix the mixture with with nuts by spoon before pour it into the baking dish.

if you love brownies with peanut butter:
put the peanut butter in the microwave for 10 seconds then add the peanut butter on the top of the mixture after its poured into the baking dish, with a toothpick make several 8 shape movements on the surface.
6) bake for 20- 35 minutes.



الطريقة
١) سخني الفرن ٢٠٠ س.
٢) نفرغ المقادير كلها في وعاء كبير.
٣) نخلط المقادير يدويا حتي يتجانس الخليط.
٤) نسكب الخليط في وعاء خبز الكيك مقاس 13X9 أو اذا تفضلين براوني كبيرة و متينة استخدمي وعاء خبز مقاس 15X7 انش نفس اللي استخدمته في الصورة.
٥) للتزيين :
اذا تفضلين البراوني بالمكسرات :
خلطي المكسرات بملعقة كبيرة قبل سكبها في وعاء الخبز.
و اذا تفضلين البراوني بزبدة الفول السوداني:
سخني زبدة الفول السوداني لمدة ١٠ ثواني بالميكرويف ، و نضيف زبدة الفول السوداني علي سطح الخليط بعد سكبه في وعاء الخبز و نستخدم عود اسنان و نرسم شكل 8 علي السطح لغاية ما يمتزج الخليطين. 
٦)نخبز البراوني لمدة ٢٠ الي ٣٥ دقيقة.
