Fashion Report: Handbag trend for SS2016

          Moving to the most essential accessory “The Handbag” - My handbag has always been my security blanket! this spring definitely going to reflect happiness and childhood fun, what bag you will select to carry on this season will show your happy fun side of your personality. Since the designers have decided that animal, food, human faced and item shaped handbags are a must-have on the run way.
         Also they picked a lot of interesting materials to add to your bag like alligator or snakeskin patterning, suede to channeling 70’s, sophisticated tweed and straw. Finally, you will notice that they focused on showing a lot of details like in fringed and  tasseled bags, chain straps, bags with loop straps and bags carrying cute bags.
       If you want to know the bag everybody is gushing about “The It Bag”, then let me introduce you to the half-moon bag. It's long shoulder strap, its oddly refreshing geometric shape, and its luxe leather in neutral shades, this is the perfect carry-all for toting around your day-to-night essentials.  

      ننتقل إلي أكثر الاكسسوارات أهمية “الجنطة” - بالنسبة لي جنطتي كانت و لازالت مصدر الأمان و الراحة، بدونها أحس إني ضايعة.

من الواضح إن موضة السنة قررت تعكس موجة من السعادة و الفرح ليس فقط من خلال ألوان السنة المختارة ولكن من خلال اختيارات الجناط المطروحة في عروض الازياء. و تأكدي إن الجنطة اللي راح تحملينها معاج هذا الموسم راح تكشف جانب خفي من شخصيتج المرحة.

جميع المصممين اتفقوا علي ان الجناط اللي علي شكل مجسمات حيوانات أو أكل أو شكل وجوه أو حتي مجسمات علي شكل منتجات يومية هي الأكثر رواج علي ساحة الموضة. و اختاروا لنا مواد عديدة و مميزة لتصنيع جناط موسم ربيع/ صيف ٢٠١٦ مثل جلد التمساح و جلد الحية و جلد السويدي (ستايل السبعينات) و أقمشة التويد الراقية ( نسيج صوف خشن ) و القش. و كذلك تم التركيز علي كثير من التفاصيل مثل الهدب و السلاسل و الجناط مع مسكة ذات عقدة و جنطة شايلة جنطة.

و اذا مهتمين تعرفون الجنطة اللي الكل عينه عليها“The It Bag”  علي حسب رأي الخبراء ! اسمحوا لي أقدم لكم جنطة نصف القمر ، هي عبارة عن جنطة شكلها الهندسي هو نصف الدائرة و لها علاقة كتف طويلة و مصنوعة من الجلد الفاخر و ذات ألوان محايدة ( مثل الابيض و الاسواد و درجات البيج و البني و الرمادي) و هي الجنطة المثالية اللي تسع كل مستلزماتج اليومية من الصبح لغاية الليل.

         Choosing which colors will you wear has always been an easy way of fashion and trend transportation from season to season. Subconsciously we are using colors to impart a mood. When it comes to our favourite color, all of its shades are interesting and more appealing for us, furthermore, psychologically provides the most balance to our lives.

          Let me introduce you to the colors of Spring/Summer 2016 season and show you how the fashion industry agrees on which color pairs will with the others.

       إختيارنا لألوان ملابسنا هي أبسط طريقة انتقالية لعكس آخر صيحات الموضة من موسم الي موسم. لاشعوريا نحن نستخدم الألوان للتعريف عن حالتنا المزاجية ، كل شخص له لون مفضل ينجذب لدرجاته لما لهذا اللون الققدرة علي توفير التوازن النفسي في حياتنا.

Restaurants Review: White Vanilla

     من ثلاث أيام ، وصلتني رسالة على الواتس آب مكتوب فيها : في أحد الجامعات الأمريكية قد تم طرح محاضرة عن إرتباط العقل بالجسد - و العلاقة بين التوتر و المرض...و ذكر فيها رئيس رئيس قسم الطب النفسي في الجامعة:

     "أن أفضل ما تفعله المرأة من أجل صحتها ... هو تنشيط العلاقات مع صديقاتها!! حيث تتواصل النساء معا بشكل مختلف ... و توفرن الدعم المعنوي لبعضهن البعض ، للمساعدة في تخطي ظروف الحياة الصعبة و التوتر.

فيزيائيا هذه ميزة ( وقت الأصدقاء)... يجعل جسد المرأة يصنع مادة السيروتونين .. الناقل العصبي الذي يقاوم الإكتئاب ...وبخلق شعور عام بالرفاهية و العافية."

     والله عاد أنا شفت الكلام معقول و منطقي، لاحظوا نفسكم قبل الطلعة مع صديقاتكم  و بعدها و شوفي شلون المزاج تغيير للأحسن -تكونين طلعتي كل هموم الدوام و البيت و الدنيا كلها وفصلتوا ضحك.

     و إتباعا لتعليمات الرسالة و حفاظا علي صحتي النفسية و الجسدية ، كلمت رفيجاتي نطلع ريوق و مالقيت مكان أحسن من مطعم وايت فانيلا - مكانة صاد و شرح ، الديكور فيه تفاصيل وايد حلوه ، أكلهم حلو و طريقة التقديم وايد مرتبة.

     المميز عندهم إنهم يرسمون بالرغوة علي القهوة ( من فترة كان عيدميلاد صديقتي و خليتهم يكتبون علي قهوتها إسمها) و أعتقد إنهم الوحيدين في الكويت يرسمون علي القهوة بالرغوة رسومات ثلاثية الأبعاد.

     المطعم مثالي حق تجمع الصديقات أو طلعة خاصة بين أم و بنتها المراهقة وايد راح تفرح برسومات القهوة ، أنا أول مرة شفت القطوة تطل من كوب القهوة ما هان علي أشربها و أخرب شكلها يونس ليما ثلجت.

     Three days ago , I received a message on WhatsApp written therein : in a US university has been put up lecture on the connection between mind and body - the relationship between stress and disease ... and said the head of the Department of Psychiatry at the lecture:     "The best thing women can do for their health is to strengthen relations with her friends!! Where women communicate differently together ... and they Provide moral support to each other, to help overcome the difficult conditions of life and tension. Physically this is the best feature of (Girls DayOut) ... makes the woman's body synthesise Serotonin ... neurotransmitter that resists depression ... and create a general feeling of well-being and wellness. “

     I think this is absolutely brilliant excuse to meet your girl friends more, Moreover, we all can see the differences in our mood before and after Girls DayOut- you will share our work and home worries then after that you will surely be laughing out your worries.

       In order to preserve my mental and physical health, I decided to call some of my friends to go out with me.  I didn't find a perfect place , for our meeting, other than White Vanilla Restaurant - its locate it in  quiet and delightful place. The owners pay a lot of attention to the decor and details, everything is so cute. The food is delicious and beautifully presented.

    

     And what special about them, is the coffee foam art drawings ( I asked them to write my friend's name on her coffee for her birthday), I think they are the only ones in Kuwait who make 3D foam art.

     This restaurant is perfect for girls gatherings and for mother and daughter (special for teenage) Special bonding time. Your daughter gonna love the coffee  3D foam art, I remember the first time i saw the cat anthropomorphic setting on my coffee; I couldn't drink it and Sabotages it, until it was time to go and it become cold.

     

     

Restaurants review: Kumar

 

    KUMAR is the name of new restaurant newly opened in Muruj in 2015. As mentioned in their Instagram account’s bio [@kumar_kw] all the dishes are the creation of famous indian chief in London. Dishes will take your senses back to india. 

     Let’s begin with the decor and atmosphere, it’s small restaurant with indoors and outdoor seats. I loved the decor it’s nice in the morning light then at night there is almost no lighting other than candles, which gives mystery and romantic atmosphere to the place.

     The menu: i was shocked with it... it was so limited. Only one page with the basics dishes, i hope in the future they will add more dishes to the menu. My favourite dish was Pakora i found it very innovation and also loved mango lassi. One thing i want to mention: i was disappointed with the lack of hot spice in the dishes, it was not spicy at all  - usually in indian restaurant we ask them to put a little amount of the hot spice-  maybe with them we should ask for it?.

     And about the prices it was reasonable prices for most of the dishes but some of them i found very pricy like the Sambosa dish was 2 Kd something ( for two pieces only!) - it was tasty but we need more source to dip it in .

 

    كومار إسم مطعم الجديد تم افتتاحة مؤخرا في مروج في ٢٠١٥ و اللي يقدم أطباق من إبداعات أشهر طباخ هندي معروف في لندن ( كما ذكر في الاكاونت التابع للمطعم في الانستقرام [@kumar_kw] ). أطباق  تسافر بحواسك إلي الهند.

     بالنسبة للمكان و الديكور، المطعم صغير نسبيا و فيه قعدة داخلية و خارجية . الديكور عجبني وايد حلو بإضاءة النهار و بالليل يصير ظلمة داخل لأنة تقريبا الاعتماد علي ضوء الشموع و اللي يضيف عنصر الغموض و الرومانسية للأجواء - لو ماكو زحمة و إزعاج حزتها يعني .

     المنيو كان وايد محدود عبارة عن صفحة وحدة بس فيها الاساسيات من المطبخ الهندي - إن شاء الله تكون هذي البداية بس و أتمني بالمستقبل يزيد عدد الأطباق. أكثر شي عجبني من اللي جربناه كان الباكورة اللي كان طريقة تقديمها مبتكرة مو اللي متوعدين عليها ، و لاسي المنجا لذيذ كان - أول مرة أجرب نكهة غير لاسي النعناع . و أحب اذكر شغلة : الاكل ما كان سبايسي بالمرة - ماتوقعت - لانة بالعادة في أي مطعم هندي نطلب نخفف حرارة البهارات بالطبق مو العكس - وهذي من الاشياء اللي خربت متعتي بالأكل لأنه يومها كان موت برد و أنا حنيت علي المطعم الهندي إلا نأكل فيه علشان البرد اللي احنا كنا فيه كان محتاج فلفل .

     و أخيرا نوصل حق الأسعار ، الأسعار متوسطة و أشوف انها مناسبة لجودة الأكل و المكان ، بس جم طبق أحس سعرهم مبالغ فيه مثل سعر السمبوسة كانت بدينارين و شي حق قطعتين بس.

Girls Night Out: Happiness is jumping on ... Trampoline

Every time i go out with my friends we ends up meeting at a cafe or restaurant to eat then we complain about “ why there is no places here in Kuwait to enjoy our time other than restaurants?” ... but this is not true of course, it’s just because we are so lazy and it’s much easier to find new restaurant. They are in every corner.  

Last time i saw my friends i suggested that we should find fun activity for next time we meet like attending cooking class, flower coordination class or play a game. We searched and find out that Trampo (located in Promenade Mall)  have ladies night every Sunday so we checked with the girls in the group “ who is in to jump?”  and we booked our date.

  It was the best idea ever, we had a blast trip to childhood. It’s fun and safe place for children - they have a lot of supervisors to supervise the kids.  And remember you must show up on time or you will loose minutes from your booked hour.

           I really recommend you to jump with your friends and burn some calories better than you gain them, Book your girl night out next Sunday.

     كل مرة أطلع مع رفيجاتي نروح مطعم أو كافية و نقعد ناكل و نتحلطم “ أن ما في مكان في الكويت حق طلعة غير المطاعم؟” ... بس مو صحيح هالكلام إحنا الكسلانين و نستسهل طلعة الأكل و بعدين نقول متنا!

    آخر مرة طلعت مع البنات و ذكرنا نفس الموضوع اقترحت عليهم إن الطلعة الياية ضروري تكون مو طلعة أكل و ندور نشاط مسلي مثل درس طبخ أو درس تنسيق ورد أو نلعب لعبة ، أي شيء في نشاط و حركة (الحركة بركة) . قعدنا ندور و نسأل و عرفنا إن صالة ترامبو اللي في مجمع بروميناد عندهم كل أحد “ يوم النساء” و بلغنا باجي البنات بالقروب “منو مستعدة تناقز معانا؟” و حجزنا الموعد.

     الصراحة المكان يونس و آمن حق الأطفال - عدد كبير من المشرفيين للمراقبة. المواعيد عندهم مضبوطة تأكدوا إنكم تتواجدون بالموعد علشان ما تضيع دقايقكم من الساعة. كلنا استمتعنا علي الآخر والله رجعنا يهال ... صج ما قدرنا نسوي شقلبة في الهوا نفس البنات اللي يمنا الله يحفظهم عقدونا بس صج أنصحكم إنكم تناقزون مع رفيجاتكم و تحرقون الكالوريز بدل لا تكسبونهم من الاكل ، حجزوا موعدكم يوم الاحد الياي.
