Nutritious Muffins Recipe/ وصفة المافن الصحي

    Last week i tried this recipe because i was lowering my calcium intake these days so i’m eliminating diary products from my daily regime. the biggest problem is dessert i stopped eating cheese :( and milk except one serving of plain yogurt daily, but it was hard to find any dessert recipe without dairy products in my recipe box.
   After searching i found this recipe its healthy, sweet and nutty i loved it the smell is heavenly. if you are dieting then this is your treat of the day and if you are not just try it, its good for you we don’t eat oat bran cereal here in kuwait. check the Benefit of oat bran.

    الاسبوع اللي طاف لقيت هذي الوصفة و قررت أجربها لأني صايرة وايد أحب الحلو أكلة بشكل يومي ، بس المشكلة إن  كل وصفات الحلويات اللي عندي مقاديرها فيها منتجات الألبان ما تنفعني حاليا لأن الكالسيوم وايد عالي في جسمي و حاليا قاطعه منتجات الالبان عن نظامي اليوم ما عدي كوب واحد روب باليوم.

    حبيت الوصفة كانت صحية ، لذيذة حبيت طعم التمر فيها مع المكسرات و عطت ريحة خيالية ، كل ما فتحت الماعون أخذ مافن فاحت الريحة. نصيحة اللي مسويين رجيم حلو فيها و اللي مو مسوين رجيم لازم تجربونها لأن فيها وايد مكونات مفيدة لكم و خل نكون صريحين تقريبا محد ياكل نخالة الشوفان عندنا بالكويت. شوفوا فوائد نخالة الشوفان. 

Ingredients:

3/4 Cup whole wheat Pastry Flour
3/4 Cup oat bran cereal
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1    tsp baking powder
1    tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 Cup banana, mashed
1/2 Cup yogurt, plain
2    egg white or 1 whole egg
2    Tsp Cooking oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 Cup carrot, shredded
1/2 Cup dates, chopped
1/2 Cup walnuts, Chopped

المكونات: 

3/4 كوب طحين القمح الكامل 

3/4 كوب نخالة الشوفان من الحبوب 

1/2 كوب السكر البني 

1 ملعقة صغيرة مسحوق الخبز (بيكنج بودر)

1 ملعقة صغيرة من القرفة 

1/2 ملعقة صغيرة من بيكنج صودا

1/3 كوب موز، مهروس 

1/2 كوب اللبن سادة 

2 بياض بيض أو بيضة كاملة

2 ملعقة صغيرة زيت الطبخ 

1/2 ملعقة صغيرة مستخرج الفانيليا 

1/2 كوب الجزر مبشور 

1/2 كوب تمر مقطع

1/2 كوب الجوز مقطع

Direction:
* Mix together dry ingredients, Mix liquid ingredients in separate bowl.
* Combine the two mixtures and Stir until moistened.
* Fold in Carrots, dates and walnuts.
* Lightly grease or line muffin tin with paper cups, fill 2/3 full.
* Bake at 400 F for 18-20 minutes.

Make 12 muffins

  الطريقة: 

* نخلط المكونات الجافة مع بعض، و نخلط المكونات السائلة في ماعون ثاني. 

* نخلطهم كلهم مع بعض باستخدام ماكينة الكيك ليما يمتزجون عدل. 

* نضيف الجزر والتمر والجوز باستخدام ملعقة كبيرة نقلبهم . 

*اذا عندكم صينية مافن ندهن القوالب بالزيت لو نستخدم أكواب المافن الورقية ، نصب خليط المافن في الاكواب لغاية ما يملي ثلاث أرباع الكوب . 

* نخبزهم في الفرن علي درجة حرارة 400 فهرنهايت لمدة 18-20 دقيقة.

Restaurants review: Künefis

    Künefis founded in iskenderun in 2005, they were offering only to several regions of İstanbul and İzmir and after faced with a growing demand in overseas markets they opened in several countries.
   We are lucky here in kuwait to be one of those countries, Künefis cafe and restaurant opened here in the first day of Eid al-Fitr at the avenues mall phase 2 in front of lime light store.

     “Künefis” ne demek? what does “Künefis” means? it is a made up phrase for Künefe nefis which means yummy Konafa. I only tried some of the desserts, turkish and arabic coffee and its really good and the prices are okay. plus, i loved its friendly welcoming atmosphere and staff. definitely, i’m going back to try more of there menu.

       مطعم و مقهي Künefis تم تأسيسة في الأسكندرونة عام ٢٠٠٥، وكانت أفرعهم تشمل فقط محافظات اسطنبول و أزمير  فقط و بعد تزايد الطلب عليهم من الاسواق الخارجية ، قاموا بإفتتاح أفرع جديدة في بلدان عديدة.

والكويت كانت من ضمن الدول المحظوظة التي تم اختيارها ، و تم الافتتاح في أول ايام الفطر في مجمع الأفنيوز المرحلة الثانية مقابل محل لايم لايت.

      ?Künefis” ne demek”  شنو معني كلمة “Künefis” ؟  هي عبارة عن دمج كلمتين و هما Künefe nefis و المقصود فيها الكنافة طيبة الطعم (أو الخنينة). أول زيارة لي  جربت بس بعض الحلويات و القهوة التركية و العربية و وايد عجبني الطعم و الاسعار معقولة. و الجو العام للمكان مريح و العاملين كانوا خدومين جدا. و أكيد راح أرجع مرة ثانية أجرب باجي المنيو.

A.S.A.P cake part 1/كيكة الحالات المستعصية

  I don’t need you to judge me here, but there was a time when i was so desperate for a cake late at night and the problem is no time for preparing a cake, don’t have all the ingredient available in the house right now or it’s just to late at night to use the cake mixer because of the noise.  

  But i needed my hot chocolate cake as soon as possible, simply can’t wait so i started looking for a quick cake fix here i’m gonna post several recipes. 

Mud Chocolate Cake  

Ingredients:

3 level tbsp. moist-style devil's food cake mix

1 egg (use small egg)
One hot cocoa mix
1 tsp. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
One chocolate pudding snack (like the kind by Jell-O), divided



Optional Toppings:
         whipped cream, 
         ice cream 
         or caramel sauce

Directions:

1) Spray a large microwave-safe mug (or bowl)  with nonstick spray. Add cake mix, egg, cocoa mix, and 2 tbsp. water. Mix well.

2) Add chocolate chips and about one-third of the pudding to the mug, and stir gently to combine. Microwave for 1 minute.

3) Fluff with a fork, and then gently mix in the remaining pudding.

4) Microwave for 1 more minute.

Let cool slightly. Top with any of the toppings, if you like, and dig in!

كيكة الحالات المستعسرة ، لأحد يقول ما مرت عليه حالة العسارة بنص الليل تبين حلو و كيكة كاكاو بالذات و الحين بأسرع و قت ممكن و تكون لذيذه وحارة و يصدف ماكو وقت تدخلين المطبخ أو مو كل المقادير متوفرة عندج حزتها و مو وقتة تسوين ازعاج مع ماكينة تحضير الكيك .

الحل للمشكلة لقيته لكم في كذا و صفة راح أشاركم اليوم وصفة:

كيكة الكاكاو الثقيلة

المقلدير

٣ ملاعق كبير من علبة خليط كيكة الكاكاو الجاهز (devil’s food)

١ بيضة صغير الحجم
مغلف واحد من بودرة شراب الكاكاو الجاهز
١ ملعقة صغيرة من قطع الكاكاو الغير محلي
علبة بودينج كاكاو 

إضافة الزينة اختياري:كريمة ، آيس كريم أو كاراميل صوص

الطريقة:

١) نرش سبري (زيت آو زبدة)  في كوب أو وعاء صالح لاستخدام المايكرويف ، نضيف خليط الكيك البودر و البيضة و خليط شراب الكاكاو و نضيف ملعقتين كبار ماء و نخلطهم.

٢) نخلط قطع الكاكاو مع ١/٣ كمية البودينج و نمزجهم جيدا . ندخلهم المايكرويف لمدة دقيقة. 

٣) نطلع الكيكة من المايكرويف و نستخدم شوكة نقلب الطبقة اللي فوق و نحط فوقها باقي كمية البودينج.

٤) ندخلها مرة ثانية المايكرويف لمدة دقيقة .

ننطرها تدفه و نزينها من الاختيارات و هجوووووووووم.

Salon Review: Retro salon - Nail Lounge.

     Today i’m gonna share my 1st experience with retro salon (nail lounge) It's located in 360 mall in mid basement. In the first day of Eid holiday i really need to spoil my self with nice manicure & pedicure specially after no sleep during the last few days of ramadan, i just didn’t feel like staying in Family gathering i just said my quick hello and goodbye and head directly for the salon.
     They have lovely receptionist with a big smile i asked her for  a manicure & pedicure treatment with scrub and i was just looking around not paying attention for her while she’s listing the flavors they have, ONE THING STOPED ME “CHOCOLATE”, and chocolate it is.

My first impression was disappointment because i thought the decor style will be like retro chic just from the name of the salon, but it was nice and clean modern decor.
 

  

      

First i removed my gloves :)

     Then there was warm bubble bath waiting for soaking my feet to remove dead skin then scrub with natural sugar crystal reduce and eliminate dry rough skin and the smell is deadly chocolate.

      Who says only face need to apply mask on? our lovely feet and hands also need to get  pampered once in a while.

     And the mask had the texture and smell like chocolate mousse  (HEAVEN), Then wrapped with cling wrap after the mask was applied.

      While waiting for the mask to be settled down, my nails were cut, shaped and cuticle removed.
washed away the mask dried and finally a little massage with applying the lotion mask. and the same royal chocolate treatment goes  to my hand.

             


      My great manicurist name is lorna (she did a nice job and she was so quiet i liked her for that i hate chatter manicurist). All in all, i really have to say it was AWESOME with my first experience in retro nail lounge
place is convenient and strategic , good service,  parking available

     The negative aspect they don’t serve there customer with drinks and snacks like my other two favorite nail salons (Nail-it salon there complementary service is for free and Nail-bar they have list of drinks but with added price to your bill)
and by the end she didn’t offer the disposable flip-flops.

اليوم راح أشاركم أول تجربة لي في صالون ريترو الموجود في مجمع 360 تلاقونة بالسرداب ( نفس مكان المصلي)، اهما صالونين واحد اختصاصة شعر و الثاني أظافر. أنا زرت صالون الأظافر أول يوم عيد ، حدي كنت تعبانة بعد قلة النوم اللي صارت في رمضان و حبيت أدلع نفسي شوي قلت أجرب المنكير و البدكير سبا عندهم ، المهم إني خلصت من معايدة الأهل علي السريع و جري علي الصالون.

موظفة الاستقبال كانت حبوبة استقبلتني بإبتسامة عريضة ، كانت تشرح لي عن الخدمات و الاسعار و أنا معطتها طاف أتفرج علي المكان و ماياب راسي الا لما قالت كاكاو (إي هذا الكلام الزبن )،قلتلها مع نظرة خبيثة  : "أوكي أبي الشي اللي قلتي عنه بالكاكاو ."

أول ما دخلت داخل ضاق خلقي شوي لانة الديكور مو راكب علي اسم الصالون أنا توقعت يكون ستايل قديم أناقة الستينات ، الديكور كان حلو و مرتب ستايل حديث.

بالصور راح تشوفون طريقة و شكل المنكير و البدكير بس للأسف ماراح تشمون ريحة scrub  الخطير والماسك ريحتة و ملمسة كان جوكليت موس. و أفضل ما في التجربة لورنا اللي سوتلي المنكير و البدكير شغلها كان بالهمسي باللمسي و أنا أعز الناس الصامتة خصوصا إني رايحة الصالون دلع و ريلاكس مو علشان الموظفة تسولف معاي و تسأل فيني و سوالف مع ربعها ، أنا لما أشوف جذي أحطلي موسيقي و أحقرها.

بشكل عام الصالون وايد حلو وهادي و المكان وايد ناسبني لانة مافي صالون حلو في جنوب السرة و أنا ما أعرف الا اللي في جمعية السلام ما أحبه، الاسعار لا بأس فيها , انا أحترم المجمع المتكامل فية صالون .

اللي لاحظته ناقص عندهم ،  ما في عندهم ضيافة بالصالون وأنا أحب أشرب شي و أحلي مع خدمة حلوه مثل خدمتهم علشان تكتمل أركان الدلع و ، ولما خلصت ما عطتني النعال البلاستيك (عزكم الله ).

Fly me away - Part 1/ خذني بساط الريح

These days there is no travel season here in kuwait, but because of the Eid holidays the airport is jammed with travelers. Sadly i’m not one of them :( thats why i’m gonna live my fantasy here. i’m gonna post several posts around the subject, and today is about what to where for the airport With comfort in mind and a methodical dash of style, it’s easy to create a head-to-toe chic airport look. 

 السفر آه يا قلبي ، أول كان السفر مواسم الحين ماشاء الله طول السنة السفارة و اللي قاعدين بالكويت طول السنة قلبنا يعورنا :( خصوصا الحين عطلة العيد وايد ناس سافرت و للحين ما ردوا و أنا للأسف مو منهم.

خلونا نعيش الخيال و نساعد الناس اللي بتسافر تنقي شنو راح تلبس حق المطار (أحلي شي عندي بالسفرة لما أحط الهدوم بالجنطة) المهم اليوم راح أعرض أكثر من لوك جمعتهم لكم يكون عملي و بنفس الوقت الأناقة مو مشطوبة من اللسته.
